For electricians and electrical contractors

SEO for Electricians

We get electricians to the top of the map pack in every town they cover, and we build the pages for the work worth having: panel upgrades, rewires, generators and EV chargers.

Call and you get Kelsie or Aden, not a call center.

Escape is an SEO agency for electricians. We handle your Google Business Profile, build a real page for every service in every town you cover, fix the site itself, and get you named in AI answers. Plans start at $250 a month, and most electricians see map pack movement in 30 to 60 days.

Electrical is the softest large market in the trades right now. Every keyword we track for it sits between difficulty 0 and 4, against roofing at 27 where agencies have been fighting for a decade. On top of that, EV charger installation has become a high volume search category attached to a job you already do, and almost nobody in your trade has built a page for it. Being early is the entire opportunity here. This is a specialist page under our SEO for contractors service.

75,000 searches. Difficulty 4.

That is EV charger installation. High demand, almost no competition, and attached to a job most electricians already do. That combination is rare and it does not stay open long.

Generator installation sits at 32,000 searches with a difficulty 1 and emergency electrician at 27,000 with a difficulty 0. Meanwhile every electrician in your town is trying to rank for "electrician near me", which sits at difficulty 52.

Everyone is queueing for the hard one and walking past the easy ones. We build the local version of the easy ones.

What you get

What electrician SEO actually includes

Six things, run every month. The first one is the one nobody else is doing.

Owning EV charger installation early

EV charger installation draws around 75,000 US searches a month at a keyword difficulty of 4. That combination almost never exists. Most electricians have no page for it at all, which means the local version of that search is sitting there unclaimed in your town right now.

Winning the emergency call

Somebody with no power at 7pm taps the first map result and calls. We fix your Google Business Profile categories, service areas and hours so you are that result, and make sure the number is tap to call rather than a picture.

A page per service, per town

Panel upgrades, rewires, generators, EV chargers, lighting, each in each town you cover. Most electrician sites list twelve services on one page and then only rank in the city on the invoice.

Pages for the jobs worth having

A panel upgrade or a whole home rewire is worth many service calls. Those searches use completely different language, and most electricians have never written a page for them. We build those first.

Getting named in AI answers

Homeowners ask ChatGPT which electrician to call before they open Google. We structure your business data so AI can find you and hand back your name. Almost no electrician has done this, which is exactly why it is cheap to win now.

Reporting that ties to booked jobs

What ranked, how many people called, and which services they called about. One page a month in plain language, so you can see whether the spend is returning before you renew.

Coverage

Pages we build for electricians

Each of these gets its own page, in each town you cover. That is the whole trick, and almost nobody does it.

Client reviews

What owners say about us

I've given full trust in Escape Web Development and I'm so glad I did. As a new small business owner, I knew I needed to hit the ground running when it came to branding and marketing. I have never had a website before and was lost in the process of what was needed. I wanted a website that looked different than the cookie cutter websites that were out there. The first moment I met with Escape Web Development I knew I found the right company. They were eager to help me with my vision and their knowledge was top level. As a result, my website has taken off in a short matter of time and is already landing on the first page when searching online.

Kelsie built and maintains my website. She is very professional, easy to work with, and affordable without losing the high quality of the work. I am very happy with it.
JP Artisan Concrete concreteartisanjp.com
Kelsie has built multiple websites for my brokerage. Most other companies or designers tried to push a WordPress template as the format, which significantly reduced my options for the end result.

Working with Kelsie was one of the best decisions I made for my website. She worked with my customized Shopify theme, simplified what felt messy, and made everything feel aligned and intentional.

Why us

Why electricians stay with us

Your market is unusually soft

Every keyword we track for electricians sits between difficulty 0 and 4. That is close to open ground. Compare it to roofing at 27, where agencies have been fighting for a decade. You are early, and early is the whole advantage.

We have taken a trade business to number one

LeakLab came to us with no website and no rankings. Five months later they held number one in seven Arizona cities. Same playbook, and we will show you the reporting rather than describe it.

EV is a growth curve you can still get in front of

Charger installs are a new, high volume, low competition search category attached to a job most electricians already do. Getting the page up now is far cheaper than getting it up in three years.

You talk to the person doing the work

Kelsie and Aden run Escape. No account manager, no handoff after the sales call, no offshore team writing your service pages. Call the number at the top and a founder answers.

You can start at $250 a month

If you are a one or two van operation, the map pack plan is usually enough to prove the channel works. We would rather start you there honestly than sell you something you do not need yet.

You own everything

The site, the domain, the content, the Google profile, every account. If you ever leave, you take all of it.

Monthly retainer

What it costs

Start at $250 a month and move up when the phone starts ringing. No setup fee, month to month on the SEO work, and the website is free if you commit to six months.

Electrician FAQ

Questions electricians ask us first

How much does SEO cost for an electrician?

Plans are $250, $1,349, $2,499 or $3,999 a month. A one or two van operation in a single town usually starts at $250, which covers the Google Business Profile, review automation and a monthly local report. If you want service pages and content built for panel upgrades, EV chargers and rewires, that is the $1,349 plan.

How long before my phone starts ringing?

Map pack movement usually shows in 30 to 60 days, and organic calls build from month three onward. Electrical terms are unusually soft, so this trade often moves faster than plumbing or roofing. LeakLab went from nothing to number one in seven Arizona cities in five months.

Is EV charger installation really worth building a page for?

It is the clearest opportunity in your trade right now. Around 75,000 US searches a month at a keyword difficulty of 4, attached to a job you already do, and most electricians have no page for it. That combination of high demand and low competition does not usually last, which is the argument for doing it now rather than in two years.

I already get leads from Angi and Thumbtack. Why do I need SEO?

Because those leads are rented, shared with three competitors, and priced by someone else. SEO builds an asset you own. Most electricians run both for a while, then shift budget across as their own calls climb and the cost per booked job falls.

Will this work if I am a one van operation?

Often better, because your service area is tighter and easier to own. This is exactly who the $250 map pack plan is built for. A single van needs fewer pages and fewer keywords than a company covering a whole metro, so the entry plan goes a long way. The real limit is how much work you can take.

Do you handle the Google Business Profile?

Yes, and for electricians it is usually the highest value single thing we do. Correct primary category, service areas, each service listed individually, hours that reflect emergency availability, and a steady flow of reviews. A badly configured profile is the most common reason a good electrician is invisible on the map.

What if I already have a website?

We audit it first. If the foundation is sound we fix speed, structure and service pages rather than selling you a rebuild you do not need. If it is a template with one page covering everything, rebuilding is usually faster than patching, and the build is free with a six month commitment.

Do you only work with Arizona electricians?

No. We are based in Cave Creek, Arizona and our proof is Arizona work, but nothing about the playbook changes by state. The service names, the search behaviour and the map pack all work the same way wherever you are.

More on the search side is on our SEO agency page, and if you work the Scottsdale market see Scottsdale SEO.
